To quote Katie's favorite kids' rock band, "It's pink, it's pink, it's PINK-PINK-PINK!" Yep, in spite of the wide array of super-cool cast possibilities (dinosaurs! teddy bears! tie-dye!) at the orthopedic office, Katie went with the brightest pink imaginable. We were a little disappointed that the cast had to go above the elbow since it severely limits her mobility, but she seems to be extremely comfortable with it. In fact, she stops everybody she sees to make sure that they know, "I broke my arm!" If all goes well, she'll hopefully have it off in 3 weeks and we can resume a normal 4-year-old lifestyle. One side note: We received her Halloween costume in the mail today and it fits over the cast! Phew...just in case!

Well, You Can Spot Her a Mile Away...

If Katie gets signatures on her cast, please put a "GAP" on for me. Our grandson, Jeremy, has the complete cast covered with signatures. He is due to get it off in another week or so. Hope you are doing well Katie (A.K.A. Dolly)!
