Our not-so-little girl headed back to preschool today! It was a pretty stress-free orientation day, where Traci got to attend with Katie for an hour and then everybody came home. Not to worry, anyway...Katie has been sooooo psyched about going back. She knows the school already, and a number of her friends are in her class again. She was absolutely sold when an ocean theme was revealed throughout her new classroom. As a matter of fact, the only time she came close to tears was when she had to leave.
Here she is diving into some pirate ship play with a new friend. Some of the kids were noticeably nervous as they were either new to the school or to the concept of preschool itself. We can only hope that our confident little one will quickly befriend them and make them feel at ease. We are so proud of our girl and can't wait to hear of her adventures!
