On Christmas Eve, we prepared for our crazy future at the 5pm children's mass. After taking our traditional Christmas lights drive, we settled in to wait for Santa...or baby...or whoever decided to pay us a visit first. Merry Christmas, everybody!

On December 20, 2006, George and Laura Bush were kind enough to invite Mike and Traci to their "Deck the Halls and Welcome All" tour of the White House. Actually, our good friends got us on the short list for this spectacular Christmas tour. Thanks, Brian and Maureen! We honor you with our very first blog posting on the CuddyCam.
Of all people, Hillary greeted us on our way into the East Wing. We were very happy to see her there...far, far away from the West Wing! 
The East Room is the largest room at the White House (this picture was taken from the middle of the room) and hosts most of its entertainment functions.
The official White House Christmas tree is always the holiday highlight of the Blue Room. Traci was quick to note that this years tree was from Pennsylvania. Here we are trying to fit in front of all 18 ft, 6 in. of it. In this picture, Traci pays homage to our future family member and the inspiration of this blog. Although, her plan to go into labor at the White House failed and did not seem to get her a segment on the Today Show.
The Red Room, our favorite room on the tour, was the site of many early White House New Year's receptions hosted by First Lady Dolly Madison.
