So Proud of You, Ebbie!

Do you mind if we take just a moment to gush about a dear, old friend who has just made it big?? A huge congratulations goes out to Traci's "big bro" Eric Bovaird, who has been named head coach of the Chaminade University basketball team. Traci and Eric grew up just down the street from each other, and Eric's family was essentially a second family for Traci. She is so very, very proud of Eric's accomplishments, including many successful years as a high school, college, and professional player and as an assistant college coach. This is such a HUGE step for EB!! If Chaminade sounds vaguely familiar to you, it is because the team hosts the D-1 Maui Invitational in Hawaii to kick off the college hoops season. Who knows...maybe EB will get to go up against Coach K in his first game? Anyway, the only bittersweet part about this news is that Traci does not know when she will see her old pal again, what with his new brutal recruiting and coaching schedule. (Can you imagine the frequent flier miles a coach in Hawaii must log?) Best of luck, EB...couldn't have happened to a better person!
