Little Guppy

One of the greatest things about our beach vacation was that we had a lot of time and support that enabled us to focus on the kids individually. One of Mike's goals over the week was to get Katie more comfortable with the idea of learning how to swim. He had taken her to two "Daddy and Me" swim classes this spring, but she was just too fearful to learn much. Fortunately, the "training pool" at Corolla was set up beautifully to conquer Katie's fears. By the end of the week, she was not only swimming comfortably with her floaties, but she was willing to go underwater. This may not mean much as compared to other kids her age, but it was HUUUUUUUUGE for Katie. We're so proud of her.
