Uh-oh...look who's entering the Land of Preschool!! Our favorite mischievous redhead took Mom-Mom to his new classroom for orientation today. (So, yeah, today was the easy day...no tears.) He was, of course, familiar with the school as he had been through enough drop-offs and pick-ups with Katie the last two years. But, today, he got to take center stage. As soon as we found our room, he charged in and just dug right in to the massive stash of toys.
Building blocks, puzzles, paint, cars, trucks, and trains...the boy was in heaven. I don't think there was a toy he didn't touch. Here, he is building one of his beloved towers with colored packing peanuts. Little does he realize that this room will not have 100% free play, there will be rules (and clean-up!), and that Mom-Mom will be leaving him at the door. Siiiiigh...since he will only be going once a week, we estimate that he will stop crying by Halloween. Wish him luck!

I chuckle out loud each time I look at this picture. He is so cute and love the red hair. Mike would be so proud. Have to add that he would be proud of all his Grandchildren.
