It Ain't Easy Being Green....

As you can see in the picture, Katie has moved on to a new day-glo green cast! We were a little disappointed with our appointment yesterday, as we were looking forward to leaving Katie's immobile cast days behind. Unfortunately, her arm still needed a little more healing time, so we opted for the fore-arm variety for the next two weeks. We all like the green color better anyway. Unfortunately, in the very inexact science of slopping together a fiber-cast cast, we have noticed that this new one is significantly thicker than her last one, so none of her long-sleeved shirts fit over it. We'll just hope for more warmer weather! Let the countdown begin until she is cast-free!
