Fall Fun, Part Two

As promised, we'll give a little more detail about the Burke Fall Pumpkin Fest we also visited over the weekend. This is an annual fall tradition for our family. The festival is just the right size for our little ones. It has super Halloween-themed slides, cotton candy, pumpkins, wagon rides into a "spooky forest", live animals, and a big sand digging pit. This is the fourth time we've taken Katie, and she finally braved one of the festival's larger slides. We didn't get any video of her going down alone (which she did at least 50 times), but here is her first try on Daddy's lap. If you hear Traci yelling, it is because Michael is treacherously climbing up the other slide....a big no-no!!

Speaking of Michael, he was a tad overwhelmed by all the sights and sounds, but he eventually settled down into some favorite corners. He loved climbing all over the jungle gym train, eating M&Ms, and riding the bumpy wagon. He also enjoyed dancing to the loud music blaring everywhere on the loud speakers. All in all, it was an extremely successful fall visit. We LOVE this time of year!
