The Help is Cheap

The natives (Katie and Connor) were getting restless today as we all waited for their little siblings to wake up from their lunchtime naps. So, what better way to occupy some crazy pre-schoolers than two bowls of water, some dish soap, and two sponges?? The kids became so giddy with their "new toys" that you would have thought that we surprised them with the world's most souped-up water table, straight from FAO Schwarz. First, they washed every conceivable surface area of our patio. (Probably the first time things have been washed for years....yay for free help!) Then, they started to wash each other. Finally, they decided to prune our poor, dead tree of all of its leaves. (Oh well, there goes the clean deck.) The kids literally spent hours out there, and all we parents had to do was re-fill the bowls a couple times.
