For the first time, all four of us went to our pool today! Katie was so psyched to have both parents and her little brother at her favorite place in the world. Unfortunately, Michael is sometimes a tough nut to crack when it comes to daytime activities. He likes to nap A LOT, but he still has an unpredictable schedule, which makes it hard to spend a large chunk of time somewhere like a pool. He basically lasted about 20 minutes in the shallow part of the pool before showing his normal signs of tiredness (rubby eyes, yawns, etc.). Mike and Traci then spent the next couple hours trying to coax him to sleep, to no avail. He didn't cry or complain or anything (that's not his style), but he basically lay glassy-eyed in his parents' arms or the stroller. Guess the pool was just a bit overwhelming this time around.

Eh, Maybe Next Time
