Our new appliances are here! Our new appliances are here! Yay! Even though we may not be able to afford any more food with which to cook in them, our brand-spanking-new, shiny appliances arrived yesterday. A couple weeks ago, our range completely died. Instead of calling the repairman, we decided to just upgrade everything in the kitchen. (We do have our excuses for the total upgrade: the fridge/freezer gave everything freezer burn, the dishwasher didn't really wash the dishes, and the #2 on the microwave keypad never worked!) We've had fun working all the gizmos and gadgets and Katie just loves looking at the "pretty, pretty silver things." Now, maybe, just maybe, somebody will buy our condo some day????March 25, 2010

Two fold bright side - no money to buy food means less cleaning of these new appliances and they will stay new longer ;)
