As mentioned yesterday, Michael ate his very first solids this weekend. Nothing too exciting on the menu...just some rice cereal mixed with water. As a matter of fact, it looked a lot like his spit-up we're used to seeing everyday. Appetizing, huh? Here's a video of the monumental milestone. It's kinda long (4 1/2 minutes), but we didn't edit it because a lot of the Katie parts are pretty humorous. She really, really, really wanted to feed her little brother, and she didn't like taking no for an answer! (Just a typical day in the life of a 3-year-old.) Anyway, Michael won't move on to the exciting stuff until next week when he turns 6-months. Until then, it'll just be a "bowl full of mush." (Which he took pretty well, by the way!)

Your kids seriously could not be any cuter. I love how Katie is getting so involved with her brother. Miss you guys!
I am astounded at how Michael took to the cereal. We literally had to sing and dance to get Kai to open his mouth! What a hungry little boy you have on your hands.
