Eggs-cellent Adventure

Katie is sooo excited....it's almost time for Peter Cottontail's annual visit! We celebrated the upcoming holiday by decorating eggs this afternoon. Now that she's three, Katie dared to venture beyond just out-and-out throwing her eggs into her cups. This year, she tried the old "duel-color" egg trick where you hold the egg for a couple of seconds in two different colors. We practiced counting to 30 while she held the eggs over the different cups. Of course, Michael watched with absolute fascination. (Next year could be much harrier when he has access to the delicate eggs...) After letting them dry tonight, we'll put a bunch of Easter stickers all over the finished products. Should be beautiful!
