Fall (???????) Festival Time!

It's one of our favorite times of the year - Fall Festival time!!!  Too bad it actually feels more like mid-August out there, with 90-degree temperatures in the mid-afternoon.  We prefer wearing sweatshirts, rather than tank tops, to our Fall Festivals, thank you very much.  But, it is what it is, and off we went to our first festival of the season, armed with lots of water and milk.  Poor Nevie had to wait (im)patiently through line after line for pony rides, bounce houses, petting zoos and carnival rides.  She's just a little too small to do much of anything at these festivals.  But, at the very end of the night, we finally found a Nevie-friendly activity:  the carnival duck pond game!!!  Neve was not only thrilled to be reaching into a pool of water, but she also loved her little mermaid doll prize.  Festival #1 down...another one tomorrow.  Stay tuned!
