Last night, one of our neighbors babysat the kids while we escaped for dinner in order to finally celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary! Venue: Evening Star Cafe (Alexandria, VA). Can't believe it's been nine wonderful years (and almost 15 total years together) since I tricked my beautiful wife into sticking with me on this journey. Traci...you are amazing. Thank you!
Oh, and we are right in the middle of our "staycation" and having a blast. But, as Traci informed me, a true staycation requires giving up all routine chores around the house. That includes the blog (which I am currently violating as we speak...my apologies). We'll have lots of highlights to report next week. Stay tuned...
