Zoom, Zoooom!

We started up a new Parks and Rec class today called Zoom Around the Room.  The major difference today is that Nevie is also signed up for the class!  It's her first official foray into an organized activity!!  Traci was a little nervous about corralling both Michael and Nevie, but she needn't have worried at all.  The class has a perfect structure for this situation:  it hardly has any structure at all!  We meet every week in a cool soft play room, filled with obstacle courses, a ball pit, and oversized building blocks.  For the first 30 minutes, the kids have the room to themselves for free play.  The last 15 minutes, an instructor leads them in circle time, songs, and games.  How freaking easy is that?  Everybody remarked on how well Nevie did today with circle time.  I guess that comes with being the third kid.  Can't wait until next week!  Zooom-zoooooom!!  (By the way, I couldn't get a good picture of Nevie - too squirmy - so here is Michael balancing like a surfer on an over-sized, pillowy half-circle.)
