All Grown Up

Boy, Katie's doctor check-ups are nothing like they used to be. I (not-so-fondly) remember lots of tears, screams, pouts...especially around the years of 3 and 4. Now that she is at the ripe, old age of 6, the visits are shot- and drama-free. She answers almost all of the questions that the doc poses, she goes off on her own for the height/weight measurements, she confidently zooms through the sight and hearing tests (We do these at school, Mom!). It took a lot to get to this point, but we are so proud of her. Thankfully, nothing out of the ordinary came out of the well visit, unless you count her always-astronomical measurements: Height - 47.5 inches (89th percentile) and Weight - 51 lbs. (77th). As for today's picture...another new development: reading the bed time book to Michael!
