Just look at that three-month-old over there...isn't she so sweet? If we had to pick a theme for Neve's third month, it would be "turning the corner." After about the tenth week, Nevie seemed to settle into life much better (knock on wood). She is so much more animated with us, cooing, smiling, and grabbing. She especially seems drawn to her big sister, who can keep her extremely happy while the parents are busy. She is also becoming more fluid with her physical actions, noticing toys, putting her hands in her mouth, and rolling onto her side. Best of all, she has been sleeping 10-12 hours/night! Seriously, how can you beat that for a 3-month-old? We'll see if she can keep that up forever!
That's not to say that she doesn't still have her moments. She definitely keeps us on our toes as she can go from happily cooing to screaming her head off in about 2 seconds flat. She is at her extreme worst in the car, crying so hard in her car seat that she chokes on her spit. (It makes for some rather unpleasant moments in the DC traffic.) So, we may have a drama queen on our hands, but at least she will always have her voice heard! Here's to another great month with our baby girl!
