Absolutely nothing beats a walk out in nature on a perfect spring day. Katie and Traci headed to yet another nature center to do some bird-watching, rock-in-pond throwing, and belly-swinging. We spotted some hawks swooping in the sky, investigated a beaver dam flooding the river, and followed a map to a hidden playground. (We pretended we were Dora, using her trusty Map!) Needless to say, from today's picture, Katie was in heaven.
Here is another shot, a more contemplative moment. Katie was perched on the ledge of a little pavilion, watching some turtles sun themselves on a rock and a couple of ducks swimming quietly by. Ahhhhh....why can't every day be like this?
